Spectacular new clubhouse features Norstone stone cladding

Basingstoke Golf Club have recently completed a 3 year overhaul of their facilities, crowned by a new 18 hole course and a modern, beautifully designed clubhouse.

With a thoroughly modern architectural design, the clubhouse is fully equipped with a well-stocked bar, pro shop, changing rooms and a number of conference rooms available for members. Norstone® Ochre Blend SL stone cladding has been used as both an internal and external design feature, with it's most impressive visual effect being where it is used as a feature wall in the clubhouse bar area.

The SL slimline cladding in ochre brings warmth and diverse colours to the rooms and building whilst providing durable low maintenance finishes that will stand the test of time. Taking full advantage of the Norstone fingerlocking panel system and associated corner units, SL rock panel was able to wrap around pillars, columns and corners with ease.

The lighter thinner nature of these SL panels means that the overall weight and structural presence is greatly reduced yet the stone wall effect is maintained. The finished result is spectacular and we are very proud to see Norstone Rock Panel™ system used on this brilliant project.

We showcased a work in progress a while back of an Aksent™ clad doorway that seamlessly blended into the cladding wall - well now we have a video of the completed doorway! This inventive use of an articulated doorway is a very impressive engineering feat.

Aspen Lodges Ltd is a small company based in Wickersley who serve the South Yorkshire region. They specialise in the design and build of unique timber framed and SIP panel garden buildings.

Our new Aksent™ range - uncompromisingly contemporary.

We’ve responded to demand to broaden our 3D Basalt range with new colours and materials - our grey and ebony basalt 3D XLX wall tiles have been augmented by quartz, lava stone and marble stone cladding tiles in beige, white and grey.

Our grey and ebony classics have proved very popular with architects and builders alike, and the success and demand for a wider colour range inspired us to create the new Aksent™ range. Every colour has the same Norstone characteristics of precision engineered modular natural stone panels of the highest quality allied with our unique interlocking fingerjointed corners allowing for supreme ease of installation and a seamless finish. Like all Norstone stone cladding products, the Aksent™ range comes with a unique warranty if correctly affixed using Laticrete MVIS products.

These modern wall tiles are perfect for contemporary commercial and residential use and are suitable for both interior and exterior use. Our original best-selling grey and ebony in basalt are still available and the full range includes a beautiful beige Latte in smooth as silk marble, a classic ice white Glacier marble, lava stone tiles in Platinum and a slightly darker Graphite grey, and a quartz tile in Silver Grey.

After our bespoke lava stone installation in the USA received rave reviews, we decided to develop a new product utilising lava stone and also using this large-scale format to include the ever popular basalt and quartzite materials used in Norstone’s other stone cladding ranges.

A minor departure from our renowned modular panels, the large format Planc™ still posseses all the benefits associated wiith Norstone’s product range - rapid, seamless installation of the highest quality, precision-cut natural stone with the warranty options Norstone has become famous for.

Packaged in sets of three (800 x 60/80/140mm), this versatile product can be laid however you prefer - staggered, symmetrical, asymmetrical or even whichever random design you decide upon. Be creative! We can also accommodate bespoke sizes from 150-1000mm wide to 1500mm long - please email us for more details.

The style is uncompromisingly modern and the range encompasses a silver grey quartzite to an ebony basalt. Surfaces range from naturally pitted lava stone to silky smooth basalt with degrees of honed finishes inbetween. Commercial project combines two colours and finishes to stunning effect at West Midlands shopping centre

Norstone prides itself that it supplies stone cladding products to both retail and commercial clients alike. One of our most recent projects shown in these pictures is for a large supermarket complex that had a combination of both Ochre XLS and our new Aksent Ebony natural stone cladding.

We are delighted with the results; Ochre XLS and Aksent Ebony cladding panel systems have been paired in striking fashion to provide a beautiful façade for this busy commercial shopping Centre.

The project, like most our larger projects, was specified by architects who obviously saw that this beautiful combination of the two stone cladding products would work.

The corner detail of Norstone’s cladding products was an important feature given the large number of external corners that can be seen on these columns extending skyways.

Positioned in the West Midlands in Brierley Hill, the finished façade is there for everyone to see - this combination may work for you too!.
