There are virtually no limits to the application of Norstone and its stone cladding products
With a little imagination, if you want a large format version of Aksent™, this can be easily achieved by installing Planc™ panels in the same format as the Aksent.
The design process (shown below) uses Aksent™ for smaller walls, and the larger walls are clad in Planc™ with a pattern that matches the Aksent panel - as both cladding systems are using our exclusive Platinum lava stone, the finished look is perfectly matched.
On a technical level, the look is achieved by having the Planc™ panels sit slightly proud of each other, made by making the bedding thickness greater…ensuring that no compressed bedding thickness is greater than 18mm. You can do this with the complete range of Planc™ cladding …Platinum Lavastone, Graphite Lavastone, Silver Grey Quartz, Grey Basalt and Ebony Basalt. The Planc™ sets used measure 800mm in length by 20mm thick, with varying heights of 140/80/60mm.
