We were pleased when asked to provide the natural stone cladding for a prestigious development on an area of the world’s most expensive land - yes, Sandbanks is more expensive per square foot of real estate than Manhattan, Tokyo and London!
This was a renovation and not a new build as such, and needed to be sympathetic to the existing building and its environment. The soft, subtle colours of Norstone Ochre Blend stone cladding are in keeping with the seascape and flora and fauna of this beautiful part of the world. This superb beach house utilises our stone cladding in a sparing and sympathetic way. Less can often be more - even in Sandbanks! Norstone partially clads the exterior and wraps the supporting pillars of the viewing terrace, echoing the property’s exterior wall. Restrained use in landscaping and a stunning interior fireplace make this a triumph of good taste. |
