Charcoal rock panels are a popular and versatile design choice. This type of stone cladding typically has a dark, rich colour of monochromes ranging from deepest grey to lighter, shale and flint greys, sometimes with hints of natural mineral colour hues, such as blues, greens, and purples in sunlight. Norstone SL Charcoal brings all this natural beauty to a panel system that is lighter than standard systems, bringing greater ease of installation and lower weight factor overall - plus, there's a cost-saving too!
Our easy to cut & install natural stone cladding can be used internally and externally in a wide variety of scenarios, such as for pillars with integrated Intercom, letterbox installations together with complicated vertical narrow windows (lots of corners!). Charcoal (SL) Slim is affordable, but still has all the quality associated with all Norstone® products: tolerance levels of 2mm or less, machine cut which affords the precision needed for a project to achieve the best possible look.

Our Slimline SL Rock Panel™ stone cladding range was originally developed for commercial projects and is used widely in the private and public sector where an affordable, but durable natural stone veneer solution perfectly fits the bill where large-scale coverage needs to come in on budget.
Now available for domestic clients, charcoal SL cladding is perfect for smaller and domestic projects. We've kept all the features that make Norstone the market leader in natural stone cladding; precision cut, hand assembled unique panels, interlocking corner joints that do away with the need for time-consuming mitre cuts, the highest quality natural stone and, of course, our unique dual warranty for complete peace of mind. They are also perfectly suited to use with external Aquapanel™ by Knauf, allowing for construction times you wouldn't think possible. The main difference and the reason significant savings can be had is that the Charcoal Slimline (SL) range is slightly thinner and lighter (15-30mm thick). Still crafted from the same charcoal natural stone as our classic XLS and XLV ranges and the same size (610mm x 152mm), these slimline rock panels weigh only approx. 48 kilos per m2.
