So what is Planc™ cladding?
Planc™ is Norstone's first large format loose stone veneer, opening up the design possibilities for our clients like never before. The long widths of each of the individual strips make this product equally suitable for large commercial projects all the way down to the everyday fireplace, kitchen backsplash or feature wall use. The wider, longer format of this series allows the stone's inherent qualities to express themselves fully - from sprawling ancient mineral formations to subtle tonal variations, this new larger format system showcases natural stone at its finest.
Norstone products are renowned for being the highest quality stone cladding rock panels on the market, and we've developed the Planc™ cladding system to be highly calibrated marble style installation without grout joints over flat vertical surfaces. Norstone Planc modular cladding tile system is available in the following finishes:
Lavastone. Platinum and Graphite are both made from lava stone, which is formed from molten lava that cools slowly, creating a unique surface texture.
Basalt. Grey Basalt and Ebony Basalt are also formed from molten lava, however to form basalt the lava cools very quickly creating a very hard and dense stone.
Quartz. Silver Grey Quartz is a pure natural quartz stone that has been cut and lightly honed to form a flat but not quite smooth surface.
Charcoal. Charcoal and Charcoal Nero use our wildly popular natural charcoal material as used in Rock Panel™. Charcoal employs the stone in a traditional splitface configuration for highly textured and colour changing effect. Charcoal Nero uses the same material but polished to a fine smooth finish for a unique surface style with lots of intriguing colours and patterns, with a soft to the touch finish.
