Knauf Aquapanel

Knauf Aquapanel Exterior is a 100% Cement Board that is usually fixed to a supporting drained and ventilated framework off the structure, this framework can be either metal or treated timber.

The Knauf Aquapanel Exterior Cement Board is the ideal backing board for boarded directly applied render systems including Norstone and has the following major advantages:

Ease of use - score and snap cutting, no need to pre drill when fixing.
Can be easily curved without detrimental effect to performance, to 3 metres radius, and down to 1 metre radius when in 300 mm strips.
It is made from Portland cement and contains no organic fillers, therefore it is completely dimensionally stable and robust, and has no potential of mould growth or rot.
When the wall is taped and jointed it can be left without finish as a weatherproof wall for up to 6 months before being finished.
Applicators already using the Knauf Aquapanel Exterior Cement Board claim that the Basecoat drys much faster in comparison to other boards.

Distributors can take single pallet loads and not be left holding stock after supplying smaller projects.
Knauf Aquapanel Exterior is BBA certified and therefore is approved by NHBC, Premier Guarantee and LABC.

When installing Knauf Boarding, the installation methods supplied by Knauf, must strictly adhered to for the Knauf Guarantee and the Laticrete 15 year warranty to apply. When affixing Norstone to the Knauf Aqua exterior boarding, plans /drawings of the intended installation methods must be sent to [email protected] for his approval stating that it is for a Norstone installation. You must receive confirmation/approval from Richard Lord/Knauf for warranties to apply.

FOR THE KNAUF WARRANTIES TO EXIST, THE KNAUF AQUAPANEL EXTERIOR CEMENT BOARD AND ACCESSORIES HAVE TO BE PURCHASED THROUGH NORSTONE UK LTD.
